Last Saturday, my friends and I went to the beach. It was a beautiful sunny day. The sky was blue and there were no clouds. We arrived at the beach at ten o'clock in the morning. The beach was not very crowded because it was still early. We found a good spot near the water and put down our towels. First, we decided to swim in the ocean. The water was a bit cold at first, but after a few minutes, it felt wonderful. We played in the waves and had a lot of fun. My friend Sarah is a very good swimmer, so she swam far from the shore. After swimming for an hour, we were hungry. We ate sandwiches and fruit that we had brought from home. We also drank cold lemonade. Everything tasted delicious! In the afternoon, we played volleyball on the sand. It was difficult to run on the sand, but we enjoyed the game. We played for two hours and became very tired. Before going home, we collected seashells. I found a beautiful pink shell that I decided to keep as a souvenir. We left the beach at five o'clock. On the way home, we were tired but happy. It was a perfect day at the beach. I hope we can go again soon.
